Wear SPF
Wearing sunblock with SPF 30 or higher helps protect your skin from sunburn and reduces the chance of developing skin conditions caused by UV rays.
Calm Over-Exposed Skin
Don’t suffer needlessly! In the case of a sunburn, apply soothing ointments with ingredients like aloe vera or coconut oil to help remedy the damage.
Stay in the Shade
Say no to painful sunburns and premature aging by avoiding prolonged sessions in direct sunlight (especially if you forgot your sunblock).
Properly Wash Your Face
If you’re washing your face for only 10 seconds before rinsing, that’s quite literally money down the drain. Gently massage the product over your skin using small, circular motions, for about 60 seconds, then rinse with tepid water. But always, and we repeat always, follow your product’s instructions for application time and technique.
Exfoliate One to Two Times a Week
Prevent clogged pores by exfoliating your skin to remove oils, dirt, and sunblock from the day. And remember, don’t dive into the deep end if your skin isn’t used to exfoliation. Start off with a mild exfoliant and work your way up. Always consult with a dermatologist to find a system that works for you.
Moisturize Your Skin
Protect your skin’s barrier from harmful pollutants and dry air by moisturizing daily with antioxidant-rich lotions. Adding a humidifier to your room can also help your skin retain hydration.
Create the Ideal Environment
Keep your home fresh with an air purifier. Some airborne contaminants, such as dust, pollen, and smoke particles, can irritate your skin.

Everyone says this but it’s true: proper hydration is essential to keep your skin feeling fresh and to help maintain its elasticity.
