Yes, tap water is perfectly safe to use. Unlike ultrasonic humidifiers, minerals in the water stay trapped in the wick filter rather than being dispersed into the air.

Automatic Dry Mode turns on automatically to help dry out the wick filter, when the unit runs out of water, is turned off, and after Descaling Mode is complete. You can turn Automatic Dry Mode on/off in the VeSync app.

You should clean the water tank every 3 days and the wick filter every 2 weeks. Occasional descaling will also help maintain optimal performance.

Add one packet of citric acid into the water tank and fill up with water until the “MIN” water level is reached. Tap the Descaling Mode button to turn it on. You can also turn Descaling Mode on/off in the Vesync app.
